In a press conference Thursday, February 25, 2021, Governor Kemp spoke on updates to the State of Georgia’s COVID-19 vaccine distribution protocol. The press release was concerning updates to phase 1a+ of the vaccine distribution timeline.
Phase 1a+ (pictured above) was amended to add the following groups of individuals:
- Pre-K thru 12 Educators & Staff
- Adults with Intellectual & Development Disabilities & their Caregivers
- Parents of Children with Complex Medical Conditions
The Governor encourages any individual who meets the phase 1a+ criteria, indicted above, and has yet to be vaccinated, to visit myvaccinegeorgia.com, in order to pre-register to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
