Dear Gentlemen/Ladies:
The City of Covington is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to engineering firms experienced in the development of preliminary engineering plans, final design documents, construction documents, and bid documents for the installation of approximately 3,200 linear feet of water main on Hazelbrand Road NE, Covington, GA 30014. The project purpose is to support the development of new industrial facilities. Responding firms should be technically qualified and licensed to provide these services and experienced in the preparation of plans for State funded projects, specifically grant programs administered by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. Services provided will include preparation of a preliminary engineering report (PER), engineering design plans, and construction documents.
All contracts are subject to State public works and construction contract provisions prescribed by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs.

Proposals received after the above date and time may not be considered. We reserve the right to accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive informalities in the proposal process.
