The purpose of the regional hearing is to inform interested parties about the intent of the Northeast Georgia Regional Solid Waste Management Authority to update the 10-year regional solid waste management plan including the counties of Athens-Clarke, Barrow, Elbert, Greene, Jackson, Madison, Morgan, Oconee, Oglethorpe, and Walton. The contents of the plan update and the process by which it will be adopted will be outlined during the hearing.
