Our friends at the University of Georgia Institute of Gerontology are looking for people aged 65-115 years with memory problems, or a recent diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia. They are also looking for caregivers for people with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia for an at-home research study.
Research Goals:
We are working with a local Georgia company (Cloud Mustang) to create new technology for helping people with memory loss communicate with their caregivers. In this study, you will:
• look at designs for the technology
• provide feedback on whether or not this technology would
help you
• tell us how we can make it better.
Possible Risks and Discomfort:
Cognition testing for people with memory loss can be frustrating.
No risks are expected.
Incentives:
Because of the need to socially distance during COVID19, testing will be conducted over the internet. Participants will receive $25 per video call, two calls required.
To participate:
Contact the UGA Institute of Gerontology at (706) 542-2539 or email gerontology@uga.edu.
