Before joining NEGRC, she served as the Business Services Manager for the Southern Georgia Regional Commission, a role she helped establish in 2017. During her tenure, Amy led regional sector strategy initiatives across 18 counties, most notably in the healthcare industry. She launched an annual event that unites more than 240 employers, educators, and community partners to strengthen regional workforce pathways.<\/p>\n<p>Her leadership extended to managing multiple Dislocated Worker grants and implementing On-the-Job Training (OJT) programs, supporting over 170 participants across more than 10 employers.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to her public service career, Amy owned and operated her own business for 15 years and served on the Workforce Development Board as a private-sector representative. This entrepreneurial background gives her valuable insight into employer needs and a unique perspective in advancing programs under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).<\/p>\n<p>Amy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Governors University.
