The program is specifically targeted for restaurants that have experienced significant financial hardship due to the pandemic, contributed to the neighborhood\u2019s history or identity of a particular community for at least 25 years, and small\/independently owned restaurants in a historic building and\/or neighborhood.\u00a0 Preference will be given to restaurants owned by underrepresented groups and small restaurants that have not already received significant COVID-19 related aid.\u00a0 Restaurant owners and members of the general public alike are encouraged to nominate their favorite restaurants by the application <strong>deadline of March 9, 2021<\/strong>.
