PGS staff deliver and organize programs related to roadway safety, complete streets planning, and Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council (P.O.S.T.)-certified law enforcement training. \u00a0We are also statewide trailblazers in education and planning through founding leadership roles with the Georgia Trail Summit and Georgia Trails Alliance.<\/span><\/p>\nThe NEGRC serves as an educational resource to the more than 50 municipalities within our region.\u00a0 We host sessions on a variety of topics related to bike\/ped, including Complete Streets, bicycle and driver safety, housing and urban development, rural tourism, environmental protection, and many others.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nInterested in an educational session on one of the topics above? In partnership with GDOT, the PGS Division is playing an active role in coordinating development of a statewide inventory of existing and planned trails to guide future planning and implementation efforts, as well as to develop maps for bicycling and walking across Georgia.
