The purpose of this hearing is to gain input into services needed for our aging population within the 12-county NEGRC Planning and Service Area.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>The public hearing will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at the Jackson County Senior Center, 151 Stan Evans Drive, Jefferson, GA 30549.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Anyone unable to attend the Public Hearing can provide input on Aging Services in the Northeast Georgia Region by completing the Needs Assessment survey, <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/r\/Wt5LX1B9eR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">available by clicking here<\/a> or by navigating to: <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/r\/Wt5LX1B9eR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/forms.office.com\/r\/Wt5LX1B9eR<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Information received from the public hearing and needs assessment will assist in the planning and development of future aging services.<\/p>\n<p>For questions or to request a hard-copy version of the survey, contact the NEGRC&#8217;s Aging Department at <a href=\"&#109;a&#105;l&#116;o&#x3a;m&#x6b;e&#x6c;l&#x65;y&#x40;n&#x65;g&#x72;c&#x2e;o&#x72;g\">mkelley(at)negrc.org<\/a> or 706-583-2546.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Northeast Georgia Regional Commission\u2019s (NEGRC) Area Agency on Aging (AAA) announces a public hearing for the SFY2027 Aging Services Area Plan.
